I have a 617-6 rimfire revolver that I would like to have worked-over to make it a pleasure to shoot.
I was referred by many to
Nelson Ford/The Gunsmith of Phoenix, AZ.
For $229 he does an extensive tuning job and finishes by test firing to be sure it's just right!
An additional $65 to ream the cylinder for easier loading and extraction since .22's are so dirty.
I would assume that's probably a pretty good price nowadays? 🤔

Dr. Ford currently has my K22 Combat Masterpiece, and it's neither the first, nor the last of my Smiths he'll have worked on. ;)

Personally, I would rather have a known expert do the work than price shop gunsmith work. IMHO, Ford's prices are reasonable... hell, most auto shops charge nearly $150/hr for their parts changers to wrench on your car.

Thank you for your referral!
I enjoyed talking to Nelson today and plan on getting to his shop soon!
I hoped to hear from his clients!
