I just got two in the mail for my S&W Shield 9mm and installed them. As promised, they add an additional 1 rd to either 7 or 8rd mag. Stiffness to load feels similar to stock, although slipping a fully loaded mag into the well is better now, just kind of clicks in without much pressure. I haven't shot them yet, tomorrow maybe. But I did manually cycle two full mags each with no issues and slide locked back fine on empty on both mags. I'm tickled, but want to know...Anyone have issues or concerns with these that I should be aware of?
Mag standing up has the new MagGuts installed. To the left of it is a comparison of the OEM and MagGuts spring assemblies. MagGuts is a hair LONGER overall, but has a thin sheet metal locking plate and a slightly thicker sheet metal follower.
A little costly, like buying another whole magazine, but it's only money right?
