I have this old model 10, 5" bbl, that has the broad arrow and an NZ stamp on it. It was 38 S&W. I found out it had a fairly snug rifling so I put a spare 38 spec. cylinder and crane on it that I had, and now I shoot either cal. that I want. It says"united states property" above the cylinder but it was evidently sent to the British and then to New Zealand. The finish is mostly parkerized but enough pits here and there to know it's been around. The grips are checkerd so I don't know if these had the smooth grips or not like the V series. The S/N is 915XXX. Its a beater but a fun pistol.I'm like some others and have a hard time putting a photo on.
