Extended safety for my Shield 2.0

I have a S&W M&P Shield 2.0 with the manual safety. The stock S&W safety is virtually unusable. So I found a source who sold me a TIG-welded extended safety. Now that safety looks and functions exactly as the safeties on my Compact-sized Smiths.

FYI, Brian Beard<[email protected]> was the seller. About $71 shipped. I did the install in about 30 minutes after reviewing a couple of YouTube videos.

I’m glad to see this. The lack of what for me would be a useable safety has held me back from purchasing a Shield. I like the option on my full size MP
