I bought an EZ 9mm pistol on the 4th of August. I've had it out three times and the trigger will occasionally stick or jam after firing. Pull trigger gun goes bang, then pull the trigger to fire again and the trigger will go about half way back and stop, no bang. release the trigger to reset and it may work when pulled.
anybody else had this trouble? I'd like to send it to S&W for warranty work and have them send me a shipping label. Where to email S&W for a label?

It has done this four or five times and the gun hasn't had a hundred rounds through it.
Any ideas appreciated.

Hi OP, apologies for the question but is the grip safety being held in using the same force each time? May not have anything at all to do with your issue just thought I'd ask the question.
I haven't had issues with my EZ so cant comment with actual experience on the problem you're experiencing. Though it took a bit to get used to my first grip safety.

As for contacting SW i would think their site still lists customer service details. Though with the high order volume right now mixed with any Covid restrictions; their responses may take a bit more time.

Good luck!

Grip safety. Oh wow, never thought about that. I do know it's there and I'll take it out again sometime soon and pay attention to it.
Thanks for the response.

Had the same issue yesterday. I thought it could be the ammo, but bought a box at the range from a different brand and the issue persisted. Second time to the range with this gun and only around 300 rounds on it. Took it apart today for cleaning and started playing with it. I am thinking it may be the grip safe. Need to take it back to the range this week and make sure the grip safe is fully depressed with every shot before contacting the manufacturer.

Took it back to the range yesterday and put a few more rounds in it. Still having the same issue. The trigger will not reset intermittently. Can't put a full mag (8 rounds only) without having the issue occur at least at couple of times. Contacting S&W to send it in for repair.

My wife sometimes has no fire situations with hers but with her the trigger won't pull because she doesn't have the safety depressed. I suppose you could fire a mag with the safety taped down. That would take that out of the equation.

I have trouble with my hand shape and the grip safety... I have to make a concerted effort to make sure it gets depressed and stays depressed when shooting .
Also make sure all the safety and trigger parts are lubed with a little RemOil or other light gun oil .

I went back to the range for that same reason, to ensure the grip safety was always properly depressed. The grip safety is not the problem.
I put a few mags through it and for some reason after the first couple of rounds the trigger just won't reset and I have to manually slide it, then it will work again. It's definitely something faulty in the mechanism.
I contacted S&W earlier today and they asked me to send it for examination.

i took one of my daughters hair bands wrap it twice around the grip holds safety in , no problem

I'm going to have to try that. I was going to tape it down but your idea is better. I'm comfortable doing that because hers has a thumb safety.
