Factory Round butt to Square butt grips?

Hello all... Hope you had a nice holiday.. I recently picked up a nice model 36 that had a set of factory round butt to square butt grips installed. The gun is a round butt and they don't fit very well. MY QUESTION IS: Are this grips rare?? I cant seem to find much info on them other than one set on Ebay for $135?? Trying to figure out what I have here.

Round to square butts are not rare but some types of wood or exceptional grain can bring up the price. I prefer darker colored grips.

I believe that the grips in the pics are square butt. I have a set on my 3" s.b. 36. Round butt targets look different. (some call banana targets) Sold the gun, but kept the grips. Bob

They are actually for both. They are cut for square, but have wood on the bottom portion of the spine so they cover when installing them on a RB.
