There is someone locally selling this gun with 3 mags. My dealer has a new one selling for
475.00 What would be a fair offer for the used one? The seller is only a few miles from me. He is asking for offers.

Sounds like a good price to me. Paid $450 for mine with only two mags. Mine was like new though

For a private transaction I'd be comfortable payin in the $425 neighborhood. That new one at your dealer for $475 is a pretty good deal too!

The LE models came with three mags and sold for $399 or $398 depending on where you buy them.

So used, I'd say they are worth $350 with three mags, or at least that's what I would be willing to pay.

Just giving you information you may not have known.... Not trying to start anything.... :D

.

How many rounds fired through the used handgun ?
I'd pay $400 or so if it's in good shape.
If these are 12 round mags the 3rd one adds a bit $40 ? as they are hard to find. 10 rounders are nearly impossible to find right now.

just picked up a lnib m&p 45,night sites,3 mags,full size,450.00 otd if that helps.i'm w/ the rest 400 give or take 20 bucks.

Depends on your location what there going for how available they are what your willing to pay how much you want it.. Lots of stuff.. $325 would be a great price and $450 I would consider hi.. Then again how much do you want this gun? If you really want it you know your going to walk home with it.. If you don't your just going to kick your self till you get one at whatever price is good or not.. For where I live that would be the ball park on a used one.. I have learned to get what I want if I can afford it at the time.. Any time I didn't I always kicked myself.. Life is short.. Don't pay & $500 bucks but if he wants say $$375 or $400 you may still kick your self if you really want it and don't get it.. Don't spend money you don't have for a gun that's not tagged for a gun!! George

I, too bought an LEO/Military M&P40C for $398 along with 3 mags. It would have been $455 with Trijicon night sights. I wouldn't pay much more for a used one but then again if you don't qualify for that price break it might be worth it. A pistol in like new condition with just enough rounds through it to have tested, say 250-500, might be worth a little closer to the standard retail price. If you can find the test date or born on date that might be a clincher for you. Those manufactured a month or two into this year have an improved trigger. If it's been made last year you might have to add an Apex kit to be satisfied with it. You'll have to figure out what the going price for a NIB M&P is in your area & take it from there. I personally like to buy new & be the one to break it in. Having said that I bought a 4 year old FS M&P40 from a LEO who bought his back when issued a new one & although the trigger isn't quite as good as my July 2013 Compact it's not bad at all after all the rounds the Police Officer put through it. I am not a trigger snob, though, especially for an SD gun.

About 2 months ago I paid $420 for a LNIB full size 9mm with 3 mags. I thought that was fair. I would feel comfortable paying around that for what you are looking at.
