My favorite Far Side cartoon was a Godzilla type creature walking through the sky scrappers of a city and eating a small car. The caption read, "Gee, I could have had a V8!" 
Wish I still had my Billy and the Boingers T-shirt.

Years ago my daughter gave me the two volume Complete Far Side. All of the published cartoons.
The books are big and heavy and tough on my hands, but I need to start going through them again.
Larson is a wonderfully warped genius who when interviewed said he didn't think he was odd at all.

I know I saw a cartoon and think it was Far Side, a building with a sign of school for the gifted and a person pushing on a door with sign on the door to pull it. I have often been told that I am like that.

I remember several times in book stores stopping at the shelf with Larson’s books of his daily drawings and laughing so hard had my wife left me standing there and getting looks from patrons who thought that I had lost my mind ..... (which I had)........
