Cote De Pablo announced that she is leaving NCIS after 8 seasons. She will return long enough to wrap up her character's story but will not remain for the full 11th season.

Farewell Ziva, it was fun!

I wonder if the writers will use this opportunity to have Jeanne Benoit (Scottie Thompson) return?

That's too bad. Its a good show and she's a good character. Not to mention easy on the eyes.
But, 11 years is a long run for any show. It may not matter who takes her place. Don't be surprised if they pull the plug at the end of the season.

Yeah I know. The thing with Jamie Lee Curtis was downright painful.:(

Why is she quitting? Is she going back to Peru?

I guess everyone here knows that she isn't really Israeli; she 's a Catholic from Peru. But a very good actress.

I was hoping that she and Tony would finally get together.

Grace Park also supposedly wants to leave "Hawaii Five-O". She's a Korean-Canadian and doesn't like Hawaii, and the show interferes with her marriage. Wants to go home to B.C.

Both actresses can probably retire on what they made from those series.

I hope Five-0 gets Lauren German back. I miss her.

Now this is a very sad thing to read:(

She adds so much to the shows dynamics. They all do so removing any of them will hurt. I really liked Sasha Alexander and it was a dramatic end for her. Took a while to get used to the change but ended up liking Cote better.

Bummer.

Lauren Holly (former director) can be seen as the ME on the new show Motive. Bring her back and get rid of Rocky.

Pauley (Abby) is still my favorite what a nut case!:) She really is smart.

NCIS is the only network TV show I watch, and Cote De Pablo is one of the main reasons!
I never cared for Sasha Alexander, and don't miss her one bit.
I've always been a big fan of the Israelis the way their military/intel forces do business and so I find the character of Ziva David appealing on many levels.

Lauren Holly burned that bridge long ago when she left over "creative differences" with the producers. They killed her in a shootout, remember?

Sasha Alexander has always said she made an error leaving the show. She didn't think it would last another season and bailed. Took a bullet in the brain for that line of thinking, didn't she? (Anyone see a pattern here?).

They could do a spinoff: "The Ghost and Mr. Gibbs". :D:D

And the funny thing is she is not even close to being Israeli.:)

She's a fine actress and will be missed. But as long as NCIS continues to being in the ratings that it does, they should be in good shape for some time to come. The supporting cast are all great and "Gibbs" is outstanding.

Poppy Montgomery has a new detective show this fall. Saw an ad for it.

She did well as the blonde FBI agent in NYC in, "Without a Trace."

I doubt that most fans ever realized that both she and Anthony LaPaglia, her boss on the show, are really Australians. A lot of Aussie actors fake US accents really well.
