I doubt that most fans ever realized that both she and Anthony LaPaglia, her boss on the show, are really Australians.

LaPaglia's son is currently starring in the Aussie series "Underbelly-The Bad" on the Audience channel. Looks just like his dad.

Johnny Depp is not really an American Indian either which is why they call them actors.

I'm impressed with the actors who can portray a character that is different than who they really are. One that comes to mind is Larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing on Dallas.

Ziva sees things a little different than we Americans. She put up a good fight. What I liked best, though, was her shooting.

NCIS is the only network TV show I watch, and Cote De Pablo is one of the main reasons!
I never cared for Sasha Alexander, and don't miss her one bit.
I've always been a big fan of the Israelis the way their military/intel forces do business and so I find the character of Ziva David appealing on many levels.

I'm not much on her (Sasha) acting, on NCIS or that other program. Ziva was a singer in California for a while before NCIS. She did a singing bit on one of the episodes. That "thing" between Kate and Tony got old real quick. And what about the few episodes after the one where she got killed. Anyway, I , like others, am sorry to hear this. I always say that if you go to the S&W forum, you can't help but learn something. Would you say that Ziva is a J or K frame? DLB

I'd say Ziva is a K-frame. Fixed sights, sleek and smooth, 5-inch pencil barrel. Not short enough to be a 2-inch barrel, not tall enough to be a 6-inch barrel. Yep, 5-incher for sure.

Half the fun of the show was her slips when she tried to use English idioms and her interaction with Dinozo (spelling)

I think that this will be a reason to wrap up the show entirely, who and how could you replace her, she became very popular, much more so than Kate did. Even how they had Gibbs take to her as more of a father figure. I don't see the show really working well without her.

I have always thought the show could survive the lose of any character except Gibbs. Ther is too much of the "Gunny" for the show to survive without him. That being said it will be a tough go without Ziva. I agree it is probabgly the last season for the show, unfortunately...

I keep hope that Admiral Aj Chedwig (sp) guest appearance wont be the last of the JAG tie ins. Would be nice to at least have AJ give an update on Harm and Mac. If NCIS is ending take it full circle it all started with JAG

I guess everyone here knows that she isn't really Israeli; she 's a Catholic from Peru. But a very good actress.

Bio says born in Santiago Chile. I believe she has been here quite a while.

Cote De Pablo announced that she is leaving NCIS after 8 seasons. She will return long enough to wrap up her character's story but will not remain for the full 11th season.

Farewell Ziva, it was fun!

I wonder if the writers will use this opportunity to have Jeanne Benoit (Scottie Thompson) return?

I've watched the show on and off for years I like it but I think it has run it's course. I like when Ralph Waite shows up as Gibbs' dad. And the Bob Newhart episodes.
