A frosted glass of whole buttermilk is second choice.
Although, I have gotten some weird looks while seated with friends while drinking it.
Then again, anybody can drink beer or liquor, it takes a man to drink buttermilk.

I saw this in a British movie, I think it was about an expedition to the North Pole. At some point they are in a rustic hovel around a table having a drink and making merry. They ask each other who knows a good toast, so one man rises and says:
A toast to myself and another,
And may that other be she
