Favorite Wheelgun

Favorite wheel gun would be a 25-5 I carried daily for 25 or so years....former partner named it "ol' neverfail"- as for what is on the hip or in the pocket when off duty, it's usually a mdl. 34 w/ a 2 inch bbl. with a speedloader or two.

Small, light, accurate, relatively quiet and lots of shooting for not much money.....admittedly not the ideal tool for an off duty shoot out but hopefully enough to get me to the truck for a real weapon

Mine is a Model 57. I had a 57 Mountain Gun in the past, had to sell it but just found a NIB replacement for it last week. I will not sell this one.

Well, it would be a K frame, probably my 66-4 in 2.5". But it's a hard choice between that one and my 10-4 3" or 64-5 4".

A tough question to answer; I would say my 19-3 6in for hunting and my 10-5 4in for carry.

Hard to pick a favorite...probably my 4 screw M28 6in. Not my prettiest but dang, it makes me look better than I am out to 50yd!

my favorite sadly is not a S&W. but its chambered in S&W :-) .500 S&W mag :-D it would be my 3" Ruger Blackhawk alaskan. most expensive wheelgun i've ever purchased at $1,320. but my god is it BEEFY. too bad 20 rounds of ammo is upwards of $60 or i would shoot it more

I would also find it impossible for me to pick a favorite.
I do like short barrel guns, but the choices are so infinite that I don't think I could do it.

Next to my grandfather's Woodsman, I truly love this 27-2. It carries well, handles well and it shoots like a dream.

My favorite depends on which one I'm holding in my hand. Currently the top 3 in my rotation are my model 67-1, 620, and 625 JM. All of which are such nice shooters that I can't call any one an absolute favorite.

I guess I'd have to say my favorite doesn't exist....

My favorite "era" is P&R and prior. My favorite frame is the N. My favorite caliber is a 41 Mag. My favorite barrel length is 5". My favorite finish is the old bright blue. My favorite factory grips are "Cokes."

Doc 44 has the only factory produced 5" Mod 57 no dash I know of and I doubt he's sellin'.

Today I hunt with a 500 6.5". Commonly carry a 5" 629-6 Classic in the back woods, CC a 66-1 2.5" and love to shoot a 27-2 5". All are favorites for what they do. But the gun that would have been my top favorite, a Mod 57 no dash 5", unfortunately never went into production...

That is a hard one. All of the firearms I have purchased, I was planning on purchasing at some point. All except one. I bought this one on a whim because it attracted my attention for some reason. After taking her home, cleaning her up & taking her to the range for some quality time, she has proven that even after 84 years, she can still shoot with the newer kids on the block. So my favorite would have to be my Police Regulation 38 S&W.

...I recently bought a sp101 4.2" in .357. The gun everyone say has "no purpose". I've been shooting the snot out of it and loving every minute of it. Miles of smiles and a low entry price. The .22 version is going to follow me home real soon.
