FBI Revolver Challenge Coin

My life long friend who is a retired FBI agent and his wife just stopped by and gave me this coin. It has the back of a revolver cylinder with FBI head stamps and the FBI seal on one side. On the other side is the FBI badge.

I display the coin with a Model 65 that I bought from another FBI agent maybe thirty years ago. The armorers at Quantico added the combat trigger and red ramp and my friend was authorized to carry it. The FBI issued him a SIG 226 and about the same time his wife gave him divorce papers. I gave him a few dollars for a lawyer and everybody was happy.

Typical FBI. Cylinder flutes are at the FRONT of the cylinder, not the rear, where the cartridges are inserted.

Very unique coin. I have seen a lot of coins in my day ( my military service included the time coins started getting very popular) and would be happy to have that one.
