Yes, it's about FDS and Skunks !!!!!

While guiding pheasant hunts at our local hunting preserve I ran into a gentleman that came in after his hunt with a " Skunkified" dog.

Seems his dog decided to take on the skunk and of course he lost, so the dog, gentleman, and truck were pretty ripe.

Another guy there told us his Vet. suggested using FDS since it should cover and almost completely remove the skunk spell. This guy pulled out a can he had in his truck and gave it to the gentleman to use--sprayed down the dog, himself and truck and I'll be danged if it didn't work.

Beats going through the tomato juice, lemon and whatever else type bath that some use. Pretty inexpensive also--like 2 bucks for a small can--I now have a can in my truck.

Just in case you or your dog gets " skunkified "---you can become "Spring Time Fresh with FDS ".

THANK YOU,THANK YOU!!!
I will purchase FDS asap!
One of my puppies got "skunked" the evening of July 4. I posted asking for advice and several members gave recipes to rid the smell. I tried all of them with various results. When the weather is wet/damp the skunk smell is back.
I am going to purchase ths FDS spray and don't care what the cashier thinks or what damage my reputation suffers.
(Hopefully my disguise and false name will work)

I'm not sure what reaction I will get out of my wife if she finds that I have FDS in the console of my truck. I don't know that I can explain that it is for some future encounter with skunks.

Our old dog seems to get nailed by a skunk once or twice a year. We keep a product called "Skunk-Off" around and it seems to work well. It comes in both spray and shampoo and we get it from the vet supply. Runs about $6.00 a bottle either way and half a bottle usually takes care of our 150 pound dog. That's cheap enough and we don't get funny looks or have to answer questions from the wife.

You da man JimmyJ !!!:D:D Nothing like being honest!! Let us know how that stuff works!!

Well I purchase two cans of "FDS"
I "Man Up" and drove to the store, parked right in front, and then---- sent my Wife in to purchased the ITEMS.
Jimmy (still a wimp)

Atta boy Jimmy---I'm having a lot of fun with this also. While guiding 7 guys yesterday one of them starting getting a little cranky so I pulled out my can of FDS ( while others were watching--we set him up) and asked if he needed to be "Freshened up a bit " , one kid about lost it. Starting laughing so hard he couldn't breathe.

One word of caution with this stuff--be careful around their eyes and nose when you spray this stuff. Hope it works for you also.

Hard to imagine injuring eyes and nose when used as intended... Unless, of course, there are more than the usual number of people involved...

Good Morning, All:
Milton, the "FDS" really works. No more skunk smelling puppy.
However-- My Wife Penny couldn't resist reporting to the neighborhood Wifes what I had her purchase. I think my "Real Man" inmage has taken a dip.
