I no longer write much about guns and knives, being more involved with a novel. But some firms continue to send me their press releases.
Generally, I don't post them anywhere. But Federal is offering a new combo -pack of 124 grain FMJ practice ammo with the rest of the box holding their premium 124 grain HST JHP defense load.
I don't know the price, which will in any event vary with the dealer. But this seems like an item to look for. The box holds 100 rounds of FMJ and 20 rounds of HST.
I know that it's offered in 9mm. Ask your dealer if it applies to other calibers.
Thought that you guys would want to know about this option. This HST is one of the two 9mm loads that I seek out as preferred fodder for my Beretta. My son likes it in several 9mm's. (The other preferred load is Speer's Gold Dot.)
