My wife got a notification that a package she was waiting on had been delivered this morning.

The notification said that the package had been left at the Gated driveway.

With the implication being that he had pulled up to the gate and had been unable to get in so he left the package at the gate.

That's the gate. He pulled in just past the gate and as we're looking at this picture he threw the package out on the left side of the gate. I found it in the weeds.

At least it was there.
I mean I would be amazed if it had disappeared from our gate. I mean it would be right up there with that was God's plan for its life for somebody to be driving down that Highway and decided to pull over in front of our driveway and go hunting in the weeds for a package that was smaller than an iPad

This is the new FedEx delivery driver's m.o., prop the package against the door or leave the 50# package 1 inch in front of the door.

Report it back to FedEx via their "were you satisfied with their delivery system". I had two deliveries last year delivered to the wrong rural drop location, reported it, and the next day I had a call saying the driver was being "retrained".

Well People....
This is the workforce we have today. I just had a 22-yr old turn down a job offer with full benefits a Pension Plan & 401k w/ 6 % match because the starting pay was a pay cut from $27 - 22 dollars an Hr.
so, for 5 bucks I'll work 6 days a week no benefits and still hate my job. Oh, we have worked about 15 weekends in 31 yrs of employment. Here is the big plus ..... nobody has to work all that hard 4 hrs. of work in 8 hrs.! Boo Hoo we only get 3.5 to 4% raises each year and every yr. Not the best money per say but put this in perspective I started getting serious about my retirement at 34 yrs old. I met my wife both in debt to our ears we pd it off by the time we were 37 married put our heads down worked as best we could and we both baring any catastrophic event will be retired by 60 yrs of age. but hey I'm an entitled *** hat that needs $27 an hour as an independent contractor with no benefits or skills doing a crappie job such as ditch digging.
