Feeling more secure with a revolver vs. a semi-auto?

I'm more of a defend the castle than bug out person, even if bugging out has better chances of long term survival. I know where I am going when my time on earth is finished.

That said, if I were to bug out, my beloved revolvers would stay in the safe and I would take my Glock 26, 19, and Ruger 9 mm PCC. Revolvers need more cleaning and are harder to fix in the field.

Oh no I was waiting on some gang to come up to me and dump a bunch of rounds into me either in a parking lot or trying to ambush and sandwich me between two cars. Keep in my this was just as the NY safe act passed so my 8 shot revolver was made illegal overnight.

Had to deal with early this morning. I took a model 29 with me, so I guess a revolver for me. Didn't need to shoot or scare him off. He just wandered off on his own when he saw me.

Don't particularly care one way or the other for it, certainly don't love it.

I carry it everyday.

I don't carry a gun as a fashion accessory. I'm not particularly attached to any gun that I own.

I carry a gun because my life experiences taught me that sometimes you need a gun. My life experience caring a gun is all so taught me that most of the time a gun is a pain in the ass.

I don't care what others carry, I own both revolvers and semi autos, and carry a semi auto which is good for myself.
