I stopped into one of my regular pawn shops. In the corner of the bottom shelf I spied this 27-2 5" nickel with original box, papers and original 1968 receipt. My heart skipped a beat and I started throwing credit cards across the counter. $684 OTD. I don't know in the softening market if this is a great deal or not, but I know it's a gun I have dreamed of and the price was a no brainer to me. I realize how bad the pictures are. In my defense I was actually really nervous and excited at that moment, so I was a little bit spastic. It is kind of milky but no major bummers on the finish, looks very well cared for and well used 90% plus or minus. It should clean up fine. The S serial number is a bonus. S-313007.

They were wheelin' and dealin'! I paid $800 for a 5" 27-2 S serial from '68 last month and thought THAT was a good deal!
