27-2 5” Nickel

I’m thinking I know the ballpark but just to get a consensus, what would you expect to pay OTD for a nice 27-2 5” nickel?
I’m jonesing for one.
Also “needing” a model 57, but since I don’t have any 57’s it’ll be easier to find a deal on the first barrel length or finish that looks like a good deal.
Once you narrow the goal, it gets harder..

I have a 27 - 2 5" Nickel unfired condition I bought from a private seller last year. As new condition, box, papers, tools, presentation case $1,600. Gunbroker is more plus tax, shipping, etc.

Of course it is all about condition, but I have had both of those that you mention. I paid 1400 within the last year for a mint 5" M27 no box, and one just sold on the forum for 1500. For a pristine nickel in the case like I had, I am thinking 18-1900.

I had a 4 and 6" M57 bought NIB as a package deal. Again, condition applies but a M57 pristine 6' no case 1500. a cased 4" I would say 16-1700.

The air is starting to get a bit thin on the prices of these
