Shield w/Trigger job (5lbs), modified rear sight with a ledge,red fiber optic front sight, slide melt ,burnt bronze Cerakote.

Congrats. Very nice looking guns. The only thing I disagree is with a FO front sight in a Self Defense pistol like the Shield or the Compact, IMHO night sights in any carry/defensive gun are a most.

Me personally.. I agree but with customer with aging eye I make the f/o front sights and don't expose the rod too much.. Honestly if the rod breaks you still have a front sight... just has a 1/16" hole in it ;)
