FFL dealer grrrr

That was the first thing I told him to do. I texted him earlier to ask if it would ship today. Got a call a minute later saying yes he has it but is busy and may not get it shipped out today. I told him that I understand but would at least like a text saying you did or didn't receive the FFL copy. Just letting me know what is going on helps a lot. I texted last week asking if I could get a hard copy of his FFL because I was having another firearm shipped to me and the seller couldn't read the copy of his FFL that I emailed him. I never got a response, so I showed up a few hours later to get one. He told me that he had not answered me because he didn't have one on hand. Then he pulls one out of his file cabinet. I think if I had any hair on my head I would have pulled it out. Is it so hard to send a quick text?

How many guns and or business besides using this dealer as a UPS drop off do you do with him. I think if a "customer" like you bought or sold as many guns as you do on the internet, I'd be asking you to find another dealer.

With as many transactions that you mention, you appear to meet the definition of a "dealer", so why don't you get your own FFL and avoid the hassle.

This is the most transaction in a year that I have ever done. I have a friend that had his FFL but he advised not to do it, that it is to much of a headache. I work 50 hours a week and have a wife and two kids. It's just not in my foreseeable future in getting a license. Im not a dealer I just like to buy, trade, sell, and collect firearms. If I had never found this sight I wouldn't be having these problems, I blame it on Smithitis. ;)

Ok I give up. What's it stand for?

He's making a lighthearted suggestion that you use some paragraph breaks to make your future posts more readable. It's somehow draining to read what's sometimes called a "wall of text," so a lot of folks will simply skip the post. In the same way that typing all in caps is not perceived as "friendly" to the reader, a really long post with no paragraph breaks can interfere with communication.

If he doesn't want to ship or receive firearms for me no big deal just tell me. It's not like I am gonna go cry in a corner about it. He is just right down the road from my house. And it's easy to stop by his shop to do business. I just don't like to be kept out of the loop. He is the one running a business and I have even told him I would have no problem coming in and helping out around the shop on my days off for no money just the experience. Maybe he is still mad because he wanted my 25-7 that was like new but didn't want to pay what I was asking. He offered my $700 for it, but sold it on this sight for $900 and a nice holster made by a member on this sight.

I see said the blind man. And noted I will try not to make that error again. But English never was my best subject. Heck I have trouble speaking properly without showing how much of a hillbilly that I am. Sometimes my wife can't even understand me, but sometimes I can't understand her Cajun accent when she gets fired up. ;)

Well, you can tell a story well! :)

I could just not sell on this sight and just sell locally but would rather offer it up here first. At least I know it will be going to someone who I know will enjoy it, since 99% of the firearms are prelock and pre-mim S&W's. Plus the last time I posted a beautiful 6" 28-2 locally some idiot emailed me and said assuming it is in good shape I will give you $400, and $425 if it's P&R. Needless to say i didn't even reply back.

If you went to school back when they taught grammar, you probably got more than a few points knocked off your grade when that symbol showed up in red pencil.

I thought you did just fine, but then again I'm just another hillbilly from Va too ;)

Well good news I finally received a tracking number today from the dealer. I just hope this thing is over with. Once my pre 28 is picked up tomorrow or Monday I will be using shipmygun.com from now on. I will just find a new dealer to have any that I buy delivered to.
