Fiber optic front sight replacement for 9 MM Shield

I have a 9 MM ported shield with hi viz optics (standard). I need to replace the fiber optic in the front sight. Does anyone know the size of the fiber optic I need. Any suggested brand? Thanks

Did it fall out? I have heard of S&W replacing the tubes in the past since they have fallen out. I'm 800+ rounds and they are still there. I hope it doesn't fall out.

Hi Viz sells them for about a $1 plus way too much shipping. If you recovered the tube you can use a lighter to thicken the base and re-install.

The front sight on the Pro 9 uses 1.5mm. I never measured the one on the ported shield.

1.Two part clear epoxy
2. Gorilla glue
3.Lock tite red
4. super glue
put a dab of whatever you choose on a piece of paper (do NOT put directly on the table as it will really piss off your wife) roll the tube in it, insert in sight wipe off excess let dry.
