So...I somehow ended up with a TEC9 (I'm aware of its banned nature and Columbine)

But I'm trying to field strip it and give it a good bath and the only manual I can find is this:
http://stevespages.com/pdf/interdynamics_kg9.pdf

I encounter a problem at the step the says pull the operating handle back and out. Having trouble with the bolt and spring removal. It ain't happenin' as the pictures on the PDF manual I find are pretty sucky. I can't find a forum with instructions but I'm also looking fairly quickly and am kind of getting lazy and figured someone here might know.

Suggestions?

It's not as tricky as the Colt .380 Government Pocketlite was.

My daughter's BF's dad told him to bring them over and clean them :)

Never mind....the manual's instruction's omitted unscrewing the back of the upper receiver cover. It's all black. i couldn't find it right away.

But really...how cool is it that my daughter's boyfriend has all his dad's guns while his dad lives out of state...they are not personally close (thats not the cool part) and do not shoot together. Dad has been storing the guns but in the meantime, instructs the BF to bring them here to be taken care of and shot.

So after tonight with the Colt and TEC...next time he is bringing a S&W .40 and Mossberg 500 for us to clean.

We're going Thanksgiving weekend to take all of his out for a good day of it. Last time was too hot. We were miserable.

OH,I thought your thread was about something else:D;)

I was gonna say something along those lines as soon as this thread came up, but decided against it. I see I'm not the only one who thinks that way.:D
