I GUESS THAT THE SAME PEOPLE THAT ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR QUALITY CONTROL OF THE FIREARMS THAT LEAVE THE S&W FACTORY ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECKING THE ADVERTISING, BEFORE IT GOES TO PRINT…..
 
While the S&W site can be interpreted that scandium frames in general can be purchased in 357 or 44 mag, this email interpreted it differently

Well, it could be possible. An example would be the models 69, and 686. They could use a Switchable 2 piece barrel for both Calibers, and supply a Second Cylinder. On a personal note, I think it would be easier to just have two different guns LOL

It would be nice to have a revolver that had a quick detach cylinder. Combine that with a barrel system like the Dan Wesson. That would make for one fun revolver

It would be even more fun if you got the .44 Magnum cylinder with the .357 barrel. A LOT of excitement (duh! for the first shot (:>()
