I started reloading around 3 years ago. I have been buying a little at a time. I now can reload 45 ACP, .357 mag. and .30-30 Winchester.I can also reload 10mm/.40S&W but don't own either one. Here is a pic of my bench, and would like to see yours. Who knows, I might see something in your set-up that I might like to try.

Don't have the picture but my bench has T-tracks and all presses are mounted on high mounts sitting on pieces of 3/4" plywood. I can easily move them or remove them from the bench.

Looking good for "Metallic Stuff".................
Do you own any shotguns..........?
Don't see a Mec Jr. or a 366 auto to turn out any bird or clay loads.

Not mandatory but some of use like the challenge of this sport.

I had to add to Nevada Ed's post, yup I love my mec shotgun shell press, found it on the curb in my neighborhood one day. Spent $150 bucks for some parts and upgrades it does a great job on my trap loads.

Enjoy reloading I do. It keeps me in the game, i would love to have your setup.

Pete

Nevada Ed,I own a Mossberg ATI 500 tactical cruiser. I know, it's not a shot gun. But the way I see it, if it shoots a 12 gauge shot gun shell, it's a shotgun! I use to bird hunt but wasn't any good at it. I don't reload shotgun for the same reason I wouldn't reload 9mm. You can buy both of them so cheap. Besides I don't shoot the "cruiser" a whole lot, just enough to feel comfortable with it.

howiema, let me tell you, if I got a "deal" like you did, I would reload shot shells in a heartbeat!!!! I love where you reload. Looking out-side while reloading would be great.

5 years ago next week I moved from my farmhouse to a condo. I used to have a 12'x15' bedroom dedicated to reloading, with 17 running feet of reloading bench. Now, In the condo laundry room I have a 5' bench with a Dillon 550b in the center, a Redding T-7 on the right end, and a removable plate on the left end. The plate currently holds a RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme (with a L-N-L adapter bushing) and a Lyman model 45 bullet sizer.

For shot shell loading I set up B&D Workmates for the 12 ga. 9000G, 28 ga. and 410 bore Grabbers, the 28 ga. Sizemaster, and 4 of the 600 Jr's. (12 6point plastic, 12 paper hull, 20, & 410 3") I also have die sets for the Rock Chucker to load all brass hulls in 12 & 20 gauge.

I had to sell or give away a Hornady L-N-L AP, 7 single stage metallic presses and 4 shotgun presses and 2 bullet sizers.

I do my casting in the garage now, temperature permitting.

Ivan

PS; The wife really hates it when I spill shot on the family room carpet!

Red and Green

Thank you for sharing a picture of your
Reloading Collection.

I have a RCBS bigger press on the Work Bench
out in the Garage, sizing and prep out there.
The set up below, in corner of a room inside
for finishing.

I just Reload small batches (50 or less). So I
need nothing special.

It's relaxing, exacting, and get a sense of
accomplishment when done.

Been reloading since, oh about, 1978, I think.
Those 357s in a Red Box for a reason.

You're not done....You're just getting started friend !

I began reloading in 1967 , I enjoy it and I enjoy reloading tools .
In the past 52 years I should have bought , begged , borrowed , found or stolen every piece of reloading equipment a person could ever need.
Not even... they just keep making new and improved gadgets, gizmo's and tools that you "must have" . The internet has made buying stuff way to easy... Yesterday I ordered a new reloading manual from Accurate Arms ...never put my shoes on , never left my house...a few clicks and you can buy the neat "stuff" ...way to easy to buy .
Midway has my account all set up and sends me sales notices .

No ...you aren't done , the fun is just starting, trust me !

Looks Great!! Now wear those suckers out!!!!
Jim

If I do wear them out I'll send them back to Dillon and have them "refurbished"!!!! I bought the 550(the one on the right) used and sent it in. When I got it back it looked & ran like brand new!!

Dillon presses are famous for loading more than 1 caliber. There are conversion kits that cost slightly less than a new press. Ask Rule3.

I've got a couple. The 550 has one and the SDB has one. When I bought them I got the E Z quick change kit that is complete with dies, conversion kit, toolhead and powder measure. My thinking is it should cut down on the time when I change over.

My bench is simple but keeps everything organized. Five full size drawers can hold much more than I have in them. The small Lee press, I use for de-priming and now bullet sizing, is held in place by one clamp so it comes off in seconds to make more room when I need it.

Watch for reloading stuff at yard sales and auctions. Have picked up lots of good stuff at yard sales. When an auctioneer has guns for sale there are usually the "smalls" , these are odds and ends that the gun owners had and have gone up for auction. Also check gun dealers that buy estates, they usually pick up stuff (reloading equipment) and may not have an outlet for it. If they don't you may be able to pick up some good deals.

D***? How can THAT be?

Hah! You used the "D word." Due to this disease we all carry, we're never d***. Just when we think we are, something comes along to catch the eye. . . .

SQUIRREL ! ! ! !

In your post, you tipped your hand, though. It's reassuring to see that you're not really d***:
Who knows, I might see something in your set-up that I might like to try.

I try to keep the ashtray a little further from the powder measure, and I like to have a beer cozy close at hand while I work. Otherwise it looks like you have it figured out.

How can you be done? With all that electrical boxes in the background where are the case feeders??

Seems you need a super 1050 also as well as a XL750.:D

Don't think I haven't thought about it!!! I was thinking about a 650, then the 750 appeared. To sell all my stuff and buy a 750,it would involve a lot of money. I guess I am not crazy about "starting all over".

I was thinking a Camdex should be in the room somewhere!!

Randy

Excuse my ignorance but I didn't know what a Camdex was, so I looked it up. BELIEVE ME, I don't need one of those!!!!! L.O.L
