After a bit of a search, I found the 3.5" to complete the series (8, 6, 5 & 4).

She is a beauty and I feel honored to be caring for her for the next few years.

What do you guys (and ladies) think?

It was listed on GB and I hit the "Buy It Now" button.

I'm sure I bought it "too soon" (as opposed to overpaying!), but nice ones are really hard to come by.

Well done! Sometimes you just gotta pull the trigger when certain listings come up on GB, and on this one I think you did a good job. It's the kind of gem that you can either blink and someone else gets it while you're contemplating, or else it bids up to one of those online-only prices.

And what a beauty. Great photos. Thank you for the photo of the top-strap. That's my favorite part of any 27.

Congratulations as I love Nickel Model 27-2's and that one is a beauty and a 3.5 inch to boot.

Congratulations,, yep ya better buy them while you can cause it looks like they are not getting any cheaper.

Striking,
Congratulations on a superb acquisition. Your pics are outstanding too! However, they are so good that I'm not sure if your gun is blue or nickel. Your OP didn't specify. Please advise. Either way, I'm impressed. When the right gun comes your way "Buy it Now" is the way to go.

IMO this is the best looking of all the Smith &Wesson revolvers, there is something about the 3.5" that stands out above the rest, I have found 11 of them over the past twenty years and will die with them, nice find and don't worry about what you pay, I remember spending $600 for one and it took me a week to get over paying that much for a 27, great investment.

I definitely want one too . It always seems to elude me .

I guess it probably is because that I really want ( need ;)) 2 of the 27-2's in 3.5 . One to carry and shoot some and one pristine one to add in to the ones holding in the safe.

I sure would like to have a nickel one too . No wonder I dont have one yet LOL LOL.

You did very good there .
