Specifically for my Browning Buck Mark .22 5.5 Field. I've run a few other Red dots on it over the years. Micro round/tube types from Tasco & AT3 Tactical. I even had a Burris Fast Fire II on it for a while. All worked well, but I never liked the looks of the tube optic and the FFII had too small of a window for my liking. Took a shot on a Bushnell First Strike 2.0 and am loving it. 28mm window makes picking up the 3 moa dot quickly. Clear glass, distinct dot, plenty of brightness adjustment, and built-in time-out if you forget to turn it off. 50,000 hrs. of battery life (CR2032). So far, so good. Had it zeroed in a 45 yds. within a few shots, keeping all 10 rounds within a 2" orange sticker dot with CCI Mini Mag HPs. About an inch low at 15 yds. with the 45 yd zero. Perfect for what I use it for. :D

I bought a new old stock Buckmark Contour earlier this year. Was shooting good with iron sights. Borrowed my friends red dot. Then I figured I needed 1. So after research, bought a Vector Optics Frenzy. Have some fine tuning to do yet, but it is a winner! Bob

Nice lookin' pistol. Gotta love the Buckmarks. Great shooting, accurate rimfire pistols.

I found one for my AR, It is twice the size as yours! But still only half or 2/3's the size I see everywhere! The only (minor) problem, is instead of the standard CR123 battery, it uses the smaller CR2 (which costs twice as much!) Has red, green, and Night vision colors. About 5 types of reticles. Auto shut off and the instructions say battery life is 2000 hours.

Since it isn't very big I may lose points on my man card: Not Tactic Cool enough!

I'm a proponent of red dot optics, on handguns and carbines. As long as they are of good quality. I am not a fan of the many chicom multi color, multi reticle offerings.

I've had a few on my Buckmark like I mentioned, but I like the current Bushnell the best.....so far.

AT3 Tactical.

Burris Fast Fire II.

I run an Aim Point T1 on a LaRure QD mount on my DDM4 Carbine. I had an Aim Point PRO for a while but sold it.

And a Ultra Dot on my Ruger SRH .44 Magnum

In terms of Ret-Dot, I never really thought about my choice much, mostly just whatever was available. The 1lb cans fit on the shelf easily, but those 3Lb cans *are* rather charming. The 8lb tub is a bit too much.... :)

Where's the hank of cannon fuse? :D

I bought one of the Burris FFII sights for a Model 41 and have tried it on a couple of .45 pccs but really like the bigger Vortex Strikefire red dot on my big pccs.
