Been looking for a while for a 6" Model 27. The few I've seen around here had an asking price north of 1k. Found this 27-2 in a pawn shop today. I keep hearing the dash 2 is the most desirable so I guess I lucked out. Condition is great with just a tiny bit of blue wear at the muzzle. Paid plenty, $875 but I'm not planning on selling and will get my money's worth of fun at the range. I plan on shooting it as I do all my guns. Came with targets but I had a set of Altamonts just waiting for the right gun. Hope to start the fun tomorrow.

You will enjoy that one. It should be a great shooter.

On my list...WOW, yours is really nice! Love those N targets on it! want to hear if it lives up to the stories

Beautiful! I have that exact gun on my shortlist. I hope to find one half as nice as yours!

Congragulations!! You WERE in the same boat as me but not anymore! Great find, killer price!! But...... I am torn between the 2 sets of grips myself. I really like the new and the old. If it were me I would let them take 1 year turns but your gun your rules. She is a beauty both ways!!! Get her out to the range Stat and Enjoy!

Oh and 1 more thing. Can you please show some pictures of that beautiful top strap??? I just love that view of a 27

$875 is actually a good deal for that beauty.

Anything less than a grand on a good 27-2 is a good deal.
