Finally getting an SD9

I was looking on Gunbroker for deals on Sigmas and stumbled on a guy that had them at good prices, but looking through his ad, he also had SD9VE's at the same price. I couldn't pass that up. Hopefully it won't take too long to get and I can try out the SD. I've had good service from my Sigma, just not the best trigger on it. I'm looking forward to getting this SD. They're hard to find around here, that's why I was looking at auctions.
I'd like to have a 45 eventually. I don't think S&W will ever offer it in the SD line. I'll have to save up and get an M&P.

I gave my son-in-law my SW9VE when I bought my SD9VE. He was delighted, I was delighted, it was win win. You will like the SD series.

I think it is an awesome pistol. The SD is my first however, being at the range a lot and having shot many pistols at the range you are not missing anything. The pistol conceals easily, goes bang everytime and of course you know you have quality that is backed by S&W. Enjoy!

I was so impressed with the fit, finish, reliability and accuracy of the SD9VE I bought in early December, I bought a second one in late December when Academy Sports put them on sale again.

They've been referred to by some as the "Poor Man's Glock", but I beg to differ.

I've had good service from all my Glocks since they first hit the streets here in 87, but they've always fit my hand like a piece of scrap 2X4 lumber.

Not so with the S&W SD9VE; which is not only more ergonomically designed but "purdier" too!
