I've been looking for a Model 13 3" round butt ever since reading a back page review in Guns & Ammo.

Just got a pretty nice one at a fair price, complete with original grips. I see them go $1k+ pretty often in this configuration. This is the last revolver the FBI carried and I'll admit that made me want one! When talking about pretty girls and guns, it's best to let the pictures do the talking! IMO, this is one sexy piece of blued steel and wood!

EDIT: 13-3 1982

It was my agency's last revolver also. I loved the gun. Best carrying and best shooting revolver we ever had. Luckily I was able to buy mine when we transitioned to bottom feeders.

Our guns were round butt, three inch and were ordered with the round butt target (banana) grips and our agency seal roll marked on the side plate.

You will enjoy shooting and carrying this gun.

Neighbor is retired FBI and was just telling me about this gun (3 inch, 13-1). Told me when they transitioned to the semi auto all the 13-1's were (at Janet Renos demand) sent to the crusher. No chance to purchase, what a waste. P.S. he loved the gun.

Congrats on the 3-inch M-13.......great gun & one you will enjoy shooting.:)

I was lucky to find a couple of them a few years back before the prices got crazy. The top one in the photo is a 13-3 and the other is a 13-4.

The 3" is my favorite carry revolver. To me its the perfect combination of size, barrel length and shoot-ability. :D
Here's mine. 13-4

Beautiful. The 3" Model 13 is one of the best carry revolvers of all time IMO. I love mine. Will probably never sell it.
