Finally Got My CS-1

As I am retiring the end of November, with 30 years working as an LEO for the government, I thought it would be great to have a S&W Model 686/CS-1 which was the first issue handgun I received as a U.S. Customs Inspector in February 1988. I found one for sale by a fellow Forum and SWCA member and bought it; I'd been trying to get one via the on-line auctions, but the prices were generally out of my reach. Thanks to Murphydog, I now have my CS-1!

I like to see when someone gets a gun that's special not only on it's own but also has a special connection with the owner. Congrats on your CS-1!

If you could qualify with it, you could carry the Federal 125 gr. JHP .357 Magnum; otherwise you could shoot Remington 125 gr. JHP .38 Special +P cartridges. I chose the Magnums!
