Finally Got My S&W 500 Magnum To The Range

This thing was a blast to shoot. I admit I was a bit psyched out by everyone telling me what a monster it was to fire. I decided to go ahead and shoot it with the new Hogue wood grips instead of the stock rubber ones. I was shooting .400gr DoubleTap ammo and the gun was quite manageable but the recoil and fireball are impressive.

The extractor not pushing all the fired cases out of the cylinder?
I have the same problem, if you did fix it what did you do?

I find that the 500 does a nice job on cabbages too, makes them into instant cole-slaw.

You have to hold the gun straight down or straight up in order for all of the empties to be caught with the extractor. Straight up works best and more often than not they just fall out.
