Finally got to shoot.

Finally got out to the range today. Have had my 15-22 gathering dust for two weeks. Ran a 375 round box of Fed bulk and 100 Fedaral champions through it. Not a hiccup. All rounds fed,fired and ejected flawlessly. I did give it a super cleaning straight out don't know if that was a factor.
The sights were just a little left but dead on for elevaton at 50yards out of the box. Soon was shooting golf balls off the top of a pop bottle at 50 yards.Didn't make it to 100 as I ran out of ammo.(note to self,carry more ammo)
This is way too much fun to be having.

Well got out again tonight with the wife. She liked the 15-22 so much she is thinking of selling off her target 10-22 and getting a S&W. I told her keep your Ruger and just add a 15-22 to your collecton.

Hehe... when my GF shot *MY* 15-22 for the first time, she ripped through one mag, then another.... turned to me and said "This is great! Thanks! You should get one for yourself too!"

Have to agree - the 15-22 is the "funnest" .22 I've ever fired.

Next thing you know your .22s outnumber every other gun you own, 2-1 and you are thinking "I need a bigger safe" (which then leads to "Hey, I can fit more guns in here...")
