It followed my home back in February, but it's been either too cold or too wet, or SWMBO had made other commitments for my time.

I knew it had a nice trigger (SA & DA) from dry firing it, but I didn't expect it to be sighted in perfectly for me out of the box.

As expected, the grips are too small for my paws. Jerry must have little hands. :)

Were Mustang Combat grips made for a round butt N-Frame? I've got a set of them on a 15-3 that work pretty well for me once I got rid of the lower ridge of the bottom finger groove.

I've never seen a set of Mustangs marked for a RB N frame as such. However, I had a pair for a RB K. They were rosewood and absolutely beautiful. I'm a little unclear on the details, but some RB Ns will accept K frame grips. However, I've had at least one that would not (a 3" M 57, my one and only .41 Mag). I think all the current production RB Ns will take the K grip; perhaps some one who knows for sure will post.

I have SB Mustangs on three revolvers, so you can tell I like them.

You might try Eagle O/S Rosewood Target Grips . I’ve found them to be the perfect revolver grip

Mustang grips (or at least the ones I have) not only enclose back-strap and they also add about 1/2 inch or so to to it. With them installed on a 15-3, the pad of my trigger finger rests naturally on the trigger. I had to modify them a bit because my fingers are thicker then the finger grooves are wide. With the JM logo grips that came installed, my trigger finger goes to the second knuckle, so the natural resting point is slightly beyond the first joint and my poor marksmanship gets poorer.

The O/S Rosewood Target Grips you suggest has an open strap, so it would most likely fall in the same category as the JM logo ones, too small.

Thanks for the suggestion though. I glad they work for you.

I'm tempted to see if I can get a set to work. If not, I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and wait for a set of Trooper Jordan's to be custom made.

In the interim, I think I'll slap a set of Pachmayr decelerator grips on it. But I do like wood.

This is my 610, wearing Altamont round to square conversion grips.
