Thought I posted this info already but couldn't find the post so I'm trying again...........

Took one of my VTACs to the range last weekend to function test (i.e. did not shoot for accuracy). Had to go to an indoor range that was only 25 yards but that was better than nothing. Shot about 100 rounds of PMC Bronze 55 gr ammo with NO malfunctions. Used a 30 round FNH mag, a 30 round magpul and the rest were aluminum 30 round D&H mags.

I don't have much experience with AR15s (only had a couple of Colts several years ago) but I must say that the trigger on this rifle was fantastic. Nice and light with no travel/creep.

I used an Aimpoint H-1 micro optic and even without sighting it in (since I was only at 25 yards) it was easy to adjust my aim to hit center mass.

Next range session will hopefully be at an outdoor range where I can sight in my optic and shoot for accuracy (although I guess the PMC Bronze ammo isn't very accurate in the overall scheme of things).

Anyway, I was extremely pleased that the VTAC didn't have any malfunctions. It was also easy to field strip and clean.

Most fun I've had with a rifle in a long time!!!!! It's certainly a keeper which is a good thing because I purchased two of them awhile back.

I JUST LOVE THIS RIFLE :D
