I have a decent collection of J frames representing the different types and eras. The only type I don't have is a humpback and that will solved soon. Now I'm chasing K frames. I currently have a M67-5 and have owned M19 and M65 which regretfully I no longer have. The next K frame I wish to acquire is an M10. Just to be sure I'm not chasing a unicorn, did S&W ever produce a 3" RB M10? In examining GunBroker, I'm not seeing many RB M10s and even fewer 3" M10s. The only 3" RB M10 I saw was a converted SB to RB model with custom grips. In what year or dash model did the RB become available? Same question for the 3" model? TIA.

The only 3 incher I have ever owned was a 65-3. I traded it off. I have a 2"K, and a 2.5"K. (10-5, & 66-2) The 3" I would like to have #1, would be a 13. Would take any other though. Good luck on your "HUNT" Bob

Yes, there were bull barrel 3" RB model 10-8s. There were small numbers of 3" heavy barrel model 10s, mostly SB from what I can recall, from the 1960s and '70s, scattered between 10-4s, 5s and 7s. Quite a few of the latter came in from Australia about 2-3 years ago. Not easy to find.

Yes, there were bull barrel 3" RB model 10-8s.....

OP, the product code for the 3-inch -8 was 100121. Since that number is unique only to that specific model and variation, it could be a useful search term.
