Powder Valley has some of those Argentina primers on sale so I picked some up along with some powder. I have many, many of the Genex, they do go bang, no problem there but they are really hard to seat. On my Dillon SDB I'd say around 20% don't fully seat so I have to use my Lee hand primer to finish them. I'm worried about breaking the handle. Some of the reviews say they easily seat like Winchester and CCI so I'm hoping that is true. I'd be more than happy to put the Genex on the back of the shelf and save them for extreme emergencies.

Check around. Target Sports had a variety of primers not long ago; don't know if that's still the case. I bought a 5,000 carton of CCI LP delivered for under $500.00. I don't use foreign primers and won't as long as I can find USA primers. If primers are very difficult to seat, I'd avoid them altogether and wait until you can find something better.

I don't disagree with the concept but I was certainly pleased with the Russian made Wolf primers during the last shortage when no U.S. primers were to be found. As to quality, it is often discussed that different brands have harder cups than others and some are harder to seat so I'm guessing that all brands are made to their own specs. If the Ginex are used on an assembly line it may make no difference at all, but it did to me on my equipment. Oh, and thanks for the tip on Target Sports, I'll keep them on my list.
