I thought I'd pass this on for what it's worth. I just ordered 1,000 rounds at $225 from TargetSports.

It may or may not be a great price but my eyes were starting to bleed looking at all the websites and comparing prices. :D

Looks like the price I got wasn't too bad.

Big 5 Sporting Goods has the exact ammo "on sale" starting today for $16.99/50 ("regular price" is $18.99/50). By the time you add in tax, 1,000 rounds will cost you $369.53. Got to LOVE California.

Oh, and .223 FMJ 55 grain made by MFS in non-reloadable steel cases, is on sale for $8.49/20 - or, $461.64/1,000 with tax. Saw the exact same stuff online for $249.50/1,000 with free shipping - of course they are out of stock.

Not too bad.
I've shot hundreds of Fiocchi rounds, in different calibers, and I don't remember ever having a FTF.

Well, as luck would have it. I ordered that ammo on 5/11 and got an e-mail yesterday saying they were refunding my purchase price because they had "oversold" their supply.

Back to the internet I go.....sigh From what I've been seeing, I think I'll have to "upgrade" my purchase objective to 124 grain just to get something.

Fiocchi is great ammo. Fairly inexpensive as well, even here in California where you can get a big box of 250 for something like $35-40 if I recall right. The 115gr FMJ 9mm stuff is cleanish, has a nice pop to it and the brass is really good reloading brass. I've found that the cases are a hair thicker than other stuff. I've reclaimed hundreds of Fiocchi (headstamped G.F.L) brass and have some cases going on their 4th reload with no problems.

Blazer also is not bad ammo and you can get it in plastic ammo cans 350 for $85. I've seen it up as much as 350 rounds for $119.
