Not sure if this is the right place for this topic or not. Have a Winchester leather covered hardcase that needs the latches/locks replaced. Latches have been pried open. Its for a 3 bbl set and original to the shotgun. Anyone have recommendations/on someone to repair? Would prefer someone you have used for this type of workbin tge past. Mods if this is in wrong place please move. Thanks!

I would think a luggage repair shop could do the work. I'd try Googling luggage repair for your area, and then calling up shops and explaining what you need.

Onomea thanks, gave that a shot before posting..."soft luggage" is what most/all in my area repair. Will take photos this weekend and attemt to post.

Probably not in your area, but if you google "shotgun case repair" or "rifle case repair" or similar, quite a of services show up. Would likely need to send the case to whoever you chose though.

Good luck!

Case repair

Took my leg-o-mutton case to a guy who does saddle (make and repair). He did a great job. Custom work. Another choice would be a shoe repair guy - probably an older one. I took my case to a younger shoe fixer and she looked at me like I was speaking Bantu to her.

I don't want to speak for him, but Forum member and presentation case craftsman Joe (jcelect) expertly repairs all kinds of S&W pistol boxes and cases. If you send him a Private Message with pictures he may be able to help you or provide some leads.
