Hi:
Buyers of "Out of State" firearms are required to pay for "Overnight" or "Two Day Delivery".
Why is the deliveries not within this time limit?
I have one that was picked up by Fed-X on 11/4 for two day delivery and is still sitting at the local Fed-X office waiting to be delivered to my local FFL.
Jimmy

Fed Ex did the same thing with a gun shipped to me via 'Two Day'. They held the package at their main depot for three days.
I called them and they said they hold 'two day' packages until there is an 'Overnight' delivery to the town the package is addressed. I asked why they couldn't deliver it since the Fed Ex GROUND driver delivers there every single day. They said GROUND carriers can't deliver 'two day' or 'overnight' packages.

Crock of mule dung..

I would demand a refund from the seller, who in return should demand a refund from FedEx since they did not meet their "two day delivery" obligation.

The FedEx overnight/2 day delivery guy is anti-gun here in my town. As a result I had a great deal of trouble ever getting my packages. The guy had the nerve to actually tell me that he is anti-gun & therefore refuses to deliver to my shop. Now if someone sends me a pkg via FedEx, I have to drive a 2hour round trip & pick it up in Scottsdale.

If Fed-Ex picked it up Fri the 4th, then they have 2 business day to deliver it, that means it should be delivered Tue. Thats TOMORROW!

Sorry but thats just Bull****. Since when does the delivery guy get to impose his politics on weather or not he makes your delivery. I would be calling his boss so fast it isnt funny.

Fed-Ex = Spawn of Satan.

I have no issues with any other delivery service. Fed-Ex? They can't get a delivery to my home address right. I watched a Fed-Ex driver go up and down my block three times looking for my address to deliver a fan motor for my outdoor HVAC unit. I tried to wave him down, but to no avail. I was on the phone with the central station at the time, and they said they had no way of contacting the driver. He took the motor back to the central station in downtown Dallas. Why? There was "no such address". My house number is 3106. In numbers two inches tall on the box it clearly said "3106". The Fed-Ex shipping label clearly said "3106". The bar code label that Fed-Ex put on was in error, it said "3100", and there is no "3100". I drove to the central station to pick it up, and the counter person said that Fed-Ex policy requires the driver to go by the bar code, and only the bar code. And then I was told that I couldn't get my motor until the next day because it was on the back of the truck, and the driver had left for the day and the counter person couldn't go onto the truck to get it because that was against Fed-Ex policy. I told her that if she didn't go get my motor, I was calling the local police and having her arrested for theft. (I'm not usually that confrontational, but I had spent 6 days in 100+ weather waiting for this motor after having paid for two-day shipping.) I took pictures of the box with the labels and emailed the Vice-President in charge of Customer Relations. His response? "Fed-Ex policies exist for a reason. If you don't like our policies, use UPS." I hate Fed-Ex.

It has to do with the local manager. My local UPS service is terrible, and the cost to ship is higher than FedEx. FedEx service is great, reasonably priced, and I have never had a problem with a shipment that I have made or received. With UPS, I wouldn't guarantee that they could hit the ground with a package.

I did call management to complain, however the delivery guy knows much better than I ever will just how to make it look like I wronged him & not the reverse. By the time I got to his superiors he had already made enough false reports about my verbally attacking him that the only way I will ever receive overnight & 2nd day air packages is by my making the 2hr drive. My other option of course is to find new vendors who use UPS instead...

I guess I've been fortunate. Especially with the drivers. They're always very friendly and helpful. But I guess just like any other occupation that deals with the public, there's always a few that should be kept locked up in an office somewhere. I hope you got your firearm Jimmy.
