Does anybody have firearm insurance through Gun & Trophy Insurance? If so, any claims and how were they on customer service? Their premium is about half of some of the others. TIA

Something else to consider but, I am currently looking for insurance to cover theft, fire, etc.
I think I saw firearm insurance automatic when you join NRA...Maybe? I think I read it was worth maybe $2000 total, but it's something. I asked my insurance agent about guns & collectibles. There's something that will cover about $10,000 without having to get a rider. He said go to a specific type of insurer. It would be cheaper.

I just checked out Gun & Trophy Insurance. Their gold plan covers $48,000 for $175 a year. They have cheaper plans that only cover $10K.
I did a Google search on Gun & Trophy Insurance reviews. I've not found anything negative, other than they do charge a $500 deductible. I'm guessing that's on every gun that was a lost due to fire, or floods? If that's the case someone with a massive collection of Glocks would be wasting their time.
I might give them a call tomorrow and see what I can find out.

I have been with Cole Cushman of Gun and Trophy for almost a decade and have zero complaints. He answers his phone or email. He is a regular at SCI and a huge hunter himself. Highly suggest you give him a call, especially if you have trophies mounted too. Great plan for them that includes money to retake the hunt for a lost or destroyed mount.

It is not $500.00 per gun that is the deductible per incident. I have had my firearms insured through Gun & Trophy for a long time, never a problem. Two weeks ago I shipped $20,000 worth of shotguns to a Texas gunsmith. I did not have two buy any extra insurance for shipping.
I know lots of trapshooters and Gun and Trophy is the insurance company we all use.
