Fired casing collection point

What do you make of this? This is the envelope for the fired casing from an all metal S&W pistol I recently picked up.

It says Houlton, ME. All of my other ones say Springfield.
Was that where this one was made or did it just go there to be 'tested'?
Anyone else have one from Houlton?

I am more interested in your 2009 production 5904, but now I will have to check all my envelopes.

I just picked up a 1911 today and on the frame it has Houlton Me. Smith and Wesson has a plant in Maine.

From what others have said on here, they moved the production of the 1911s and other all metal guns there so that they could free up room for the M&P line.

This case was from 02/2009 so I believe it would have pre-dated the BIG move. That is not to say your 5904 wasn't made there. All of my 3rd Gens are older and were tested in Springfield.

Sorry about the "5904", I was having too much fun with paint shop. It is a 5904TSW. I'll change the picture.

My Melonite 5946 says Springfield too. I'd like to know what the casing with that 5906TSW (integral rail) and maybe the 3914TSW's we have been seeing say.
