Fired my sw40ve for the first time today.

Personally, I don't care what kind of box they come in...I don't keep them in the box. The box goes into storage, and the gun goes in the safe. I wouldn't even keep the box except that if I ever want to sell or trade the gun, people want the box it came in.

As to the issue over "clip" versus "magazine" I grant it isn't the burning issue of the day...but correct terminology is a hallmark of one who has experience and learning in a discipline. For example, medical terminology...mechanical terminology...and on and on. It's not critical to handgun ownership, as much as safety and responsibility are, but using correct terminology does indicate something to others in the discipline.

As someone else said- my SD9 came in the NanoVault, I would gladly have paid less for cardboard. The Micro90 light was what sold me, along with the 'S&W' on the side of the pistol.

Yeah, that's why I keep telling my doctor to quit practicing on me and fix me.
