Second time shooting the 9mm shield today. First trip 125 rnds no hiccups, today at 25 rnds I had a stove pipe with some 115 grain ammo, then 350 rnd of no problems. very accurate gun and fun to shoot. After getting the right grip and getting my mind set right it to concentrate on the front site, it amazed me.

Don't let that single stovepipe bother you. I had one early on too and have never had a problem since. I think the recoil spring group is pretty tight (maybe helps cut down recoil) but, man, after this baby gets broken in, it runs like a Swiss watch.

It won't bother me at all, it was cheap ammo, the first thing I do with a new gun is feed it everything I can get my hands on. Its my summer gun so I have a little time to put some more rounds thru it. The good news is my carry ammo didn't give me any problems. With My compact 40 I didn't consider it broke in until after 1000 rnds. I think with the shield it will be a few more as everything just seems tighter. I did also notice twice that when not giving it a true good brisk sling shot it went into battery the last 1/4 inch or so in what I would call slow motion. That was my fault and when it happened I remembered my dads words to me when I was a kid. " If your going to shoot a gun treat it like your a man, you won't break it I promise" this was what he said after I caused a jam be running the action slow on a lever action.
