Shot my M&P 15 A Comp today..shot perfect . I used Fiocchi ammo to start,but am going to use Federal from Walmart and try the CCI High Velocity,,,read in the instructions or found out at least I don,t have a match chamber,,the owners manual said if it didn,t have Production Center written on it you could use the CCI Stingers...installed a red dot 1x and it shoots tight groups...

Congrats on your new 15-22 and welcome to the family

I shoot Federal bulk, CCI Mini-Mags and CCI Blazers by the thousands... all work well.

A few suggested mods for a new 15-22:

JP 3.5 "yellow" fire control group springs (10 bucks)
A smidgen of careful polishing of the trigger/hammer contact surfaces (10 minutes)
A BELT_FED extended charging handle latch (if still available)

Besides the 15-22, I also have one in 5.45 X 39. Shoots pretty good, but it's not a target rifle by any means. I can keep a 2.5" group at a hundred yards with this surplus ammo, and that's good enough for what I need. The ammo is cheap and it always goes boom.
