Picked me up a new addition to my family this weekend. I found a 29-2 at the gun show this weekend. This is my first N frame. I look forward to many more.to

Nice score! 4" 29-2 in what looks like excellent condition.

(a few pics out of the presentation case would be great)

One of my all-time favorite revolvers! Congrats :)

ETA: Nice grips, too!

Congrats. I have always liked the looks of the 29's and love the way it feels when you pick it up. Talk about a handful!!!!! Very nice piece.

I've yet to see a decent nickel P&R N frame out this way to snag. My "grail gun sets" include 27-2/57/29-2 in nickel with 8-3/8" barrels, but I may have to do the BrokeGunner thing to make that happen.

Good find!

Well, you sure started out on the right foot!! Beautiful handgun. Although it sounds crazy, this could be one of those "If you could only have one handgun" guns. Plenty of power if you need it, but with 44 specials, and the ability to handload light "plinking" loads, you could do almost anything with this one gun.

But of course, it doesn't work that way. You will be getting many more!!!

Best Regards, Les

N-Frame

Now that's a beautiful Model 29, nickel 4 inch N-frame. WOW.
I have never seen so many Smith. Revolvers in one place as there were in Tulsa, nice buy. Congrats

That was my first revolver too, mod 29. It got lonely, so now I have 5 more and just getting started. Enjoy.

This 44 is a definate upgrade from my 38's and 357's. I was looking for a 27 and decided on the 29. There were a lot of revolvers in Tulsa but the prices were ungodly. I was fortunate to buy this one from an individual or I would have come home empty handed.

Just got my self an N- Frame too a JM 929 9mm. Beautiful gun with a 6.5in barrel with trigger work done to it. 10 & 9's on the target at 50 meters. I love revolvers.

Beautiful 29-2 i guess you bought that here in Tulsa, I noticed a lot of nice S&W's with decent prices. A little time with a soft rag, some flitz polish and then a coat or two of wax and i bet that gun would make you need dark sunglasses to look at.
