First post--can you show the riser you use for your scope?

I just got the MP 15-22 and added a few trinkets. The riser I have is a bit high I think. I would like to see your risers and know where you got them.

Since you have BUS, the right riser height is the one that allows those to cowitness with the optical. Looks pretty close to me...

looks like my riser, I had a 1" tall one on it and I could not zip my case shut so I changed it to a 3/4 tall, ( off ebay )

Only if the back up iron sights are sighted in.

I use this - it's quick detach, isn't too high, 5 slots works for most red dots.

I don't worry about what 'co witness' I have - I only use the red dot, and keep a spare battery with me.

Just a little note....although i cannot vouch for the new sport version of the 15-22...most folks would advise against straddling the mount across the upper and the hand-guard...any stress or pressure placed on the hand-guard could throw your POI off. If possible try to mount the RDS on the upper alone.

I used two one inch rail attachments (ebay)...simply because my options were limited with my scope choice...which had to be double strapped at the front of the tube. (you can get a dedicated mount but it only comes with dovetails). These two could be moved to get the right position for the close eye relief of the scope. Tis rock solid

I have the UTG Low Profile Riser 13 slots 0.5" saddle height. I bought it in 2012 for $11.60. I can't find it on Amazon now, but here is a link to the OEM. As you can see in the photo I have a NCStar VISM green Laser mounted on the front and it has no problem seeing above.

It's just a Primary Arms QD base that works well with the Millet DMS-1.

Of course the 5.56 has a more substantial base/rings set up.

This is the latest addition to my toy!
After swapping a couple of private messages with Ghostmutt, I have a 2x7x32 Viper Crossfire with a Dead Hold reticle, on a Mizugiwa quick release mount. Thanks again Ben!
The scope clears the Battle Sight by about 1/16 of an inch.
As soon as it quits raining here I will go and try it out!
The scope was $116.00 on EBay and the mount was $25.00 on Amazon.
