This little rifle is a BLAST to shoot! I loved it, I can see how some of you guys go through thousands of rounds so easy. The one thing I did notice about it though..........boy is that trigger GRITTY!? Or at least mine is. I foresee many more fun range trips with this rifle!!

Great gun isn't it! Welcome to the club

The hard clack of the reset gets me more than the pull. Mine breaks clean enough the grit doesn't get to me. Maybe I'm just used to shooting double action pistols.

Welcome aboard, and yep the gun is a blast to shoot. No pun intended. I've put about 1000 or so rounds through mine since I bought it in mid July, 450 of those was this past weekend lol. NOT ONE issue or FTF, FTE..so far. Well after I ran through the 100 remington crap ammo I had.. ( that stuff is HORRIBLE) Its a DUU3XXX serial. Hope it stays in the firing shape that its in, for many years to come. Love this lil' rifle.

Yes it is great! It doesn't bother me really I guess.......but it's very noticeable to me is all.

Next thing I'm doing to my gun is the JP srings to fix the hard trigger.

TxSoldier, The JP spring kit is about $10 and does wonders. If you do some minor polishing in addition to the springs, you'll probably not have any gritty feeling. There are some threads in the forum dealing with this. Just do a search and have some fun exploring.

Same here

I installed the JP spring kit and I also put some polishing compound on the trigger and sear then worked the trigger until the grittiness was gone. Cleaned it up, lubed and it was like having a new gun. What a difference. I was a bit intimidated in replacing the springs, but after searching the threads as recommended by HalfSwiss, it all went well.

welcome to the forum and the disorder. it sounds like these guys have you on the right track. the j&p trigger springs are one of the cheapest and best mods you can do to this rifle. 10 min. with a drimel and some polishing comp. will get you great results but if you dont have access alittle comp. and just working them together works good also.. and a simple setscrew will take up most of the pretravel for an even better trigger feel..

If you do all that is suggested here you will prob. need tho rezero the rifle.. there is that much of a difference..

good luck with the new toy and dont be afraid to ask questions along the way thats what we are here for
