First time gun owner.

Yesterday afternoon I walked into my local Academy Sports & Outdoors and decided in was time to exercise my 2nd Amendment Right as an American. My first purchase? Smith & Wesson SD9VE. I read a ton of great reviews and lots of positive videos about this gun. Along with the great reviews also came a very likable price. I have not taken it to the range yet but I can not wait. It's looking like it's going to be the weekend ATM but we will see. I am very happy with my purchase and will be sharing my first shooting experience with this gun as soon as it happens. Cheers!

Thank you to everyone for the welcomes. I can tell I'm in a great community.

Soooooo, I went out to my local range today pick out a zombie target and put 100 rounds through it with my sd9ve and I loved every second of it. This handgun is fantastic! No jams. No issues except for my accuracy but that will get better with time. I will say the trigger pull is a bit long but I'm sure it's a matter of getting used to.
