First Timer Question About PC Shield Plus Optics

Hello, newbie here.
I am about to purchase a PC Shield Plus 4" non-ported, but the only option is one with an included CT red dot. (higher cost).

I prefer the CT Rad Micro Green dot.
Is my only option to purchase the gun with included optic and buy the CT Rad separately?

If you want an optic ready Shield plus with a 4 inch barrel that is your only option, at least it was when I was looking last year. Website says it still it.

If you don't care about the gun being a Performance Center model or having a 3 inch barrel you can get an OR version without the sight, that's what I ended up with. I don't understand why you have to buy the PC version to get a 4 inch barrel. I did look at the PC version and liked the gun but like you wanted a different sight on it.

I went to Arapahoe High School on University in the 70s when Highlands Ranch was nothing but prairie, that area sure has built up since then.

Yes, it sure has exploded around here. I only moved here in 2005 and the growth in just 20 years has been crazy.
